  • Hi there.
i've been sitting in the computer lab for 5 hours and accomplished nothing..my writing this is even procrastinating even more...i have to figure out and choose topics to write about for my final projects due at the end of May and beginning of June.  I'm not too motivated since i just finished writing mid term papers.  Boo.  I have to start this week b/c they are all scientific papers of 2500 words each and each paper is worth 60%, 50% and 50% of my final grade so i can't blow it off!

OK, that's about it.  hopefully i can get with it here...How is everyone doing anyway?  Does anyone read xanga anymore?

thanks for reading...if you're there muhuhahahahaha

OK, So check it out, I did it, I went to the live recording of Hillsong's new cd that is due out in July.  It was an amazing night, 2 hours of great music (all new!) and a great time of worship.  Having listened to Hillsong for the last two years it was really great to actually see them live and worship with them live.  I will now check that off my list of things to do in my life.  I think it will be a great CD too, so pick it up come July!

Tomorrow is my first day of class, woo hoo!

  • I'm here.

What a crazy experience my arrival was.  I was met at the airport by a couple of people that i had been put in contact with by a friend.  They drove me to a friend of theirs place, he had offered to allow me to stay with him until i could find my own place...he too is an international student studying in Australia, he's from Korea.  His English is amazing after only 3 years of living here.  I then got a walking tour of Sydney.  We walked around the opera house along the harbour, through chinatown and back around. Two other people Mama Geeta told me to look up just happened to be friends with these guys so we met them too after dinner.  this is really a small world.  The church that they attend sends teams to Thailand every year and I plan to meet with the team to get to know them and hear about their Thailand experiences.  Good times.

Hillsong is recording a new cd on Sunday and I hope to attend!  I'll let you know if I do and how it was.  I will also post some pictures...as soon as i take some...

thanks for reading.  I need your prayers.
    thanks!

  • Ps 039:006a
We are merely moving shadows and our busy rushing ends in nothing.

    Shadows
When I read this I started to think about shadows.  A shadow is nothing.  It has no significance.  A shadow never arrives, it never accomplishes anything, it doesn't make the world a better place, it just isn't

A shadow only exists because of the light.

I only exist because of the Light.

That's the way it should be.  Where God goes, I go.  What God does, I do.  When God stops to help, I stop and help... All I am is the image of God.  That's what it should be.  I don't always feel like the image of God, I don't always act like I am the image of God but that's what I am and I need to spend my life fulfilling that calling and spending less time with the "busy rushing" which "ends in nothing."

    I'm right here God.

  • I was reading back through my posts for the last couple months and there is one theme...direction and uncertainty.  Wow, I spent a lot of time focused on that while, really, in my heart i was confident that the Lord would provide and would direct.  I also knew that a month ago was way to soon for God to give instructions on what would happen this month so i was, in fact, just waiting.  I don't have all the money for school, I don't have a place to live yet when i arrive, but shoot, i don't arrive until the 4th of March, why would I need a place now?  Where God guides he will provide.  Every once and a while the anxiety creeps up from my soul and that's when I blog  so anyway...i'm excited to see what this next chapter holds.  I've been pretty confident about school but I realized this morning during devos that I'm still gonna need God's grace as I study a new subject, then...i know he will provide that.

Cool. thanks for your prayers and support...keep them coming!

    Thanks for reading...

  • The Next Chapter

So, i've been in so cal for the last couple weeks hanging out.  My best friend got married on Feb 9 and then my parents came in to visit for a few days last week.  I took them all over so cal.  I've also decided to attend grad school in Australia.  I will be leaving on March 2 as school begins March 10.  Once I complete the programme I will have my Masters in Public Health.  Then we'll see what happens.  I'll be attending University of New South Wales in Sydney.  It's exciting but I've got a lot to do, I'm liquidating everything, all my stuff including my 4runner...someone is going to get a great vehicle.  Anyway, I still need prayer as there is a lot going on, a lot I need to do and then I need to find living accomodations in Oz when I arrive.  I'll keep you updated!

Here are some pictures from the last couple weeks.
